My name is Erik Sophir. I am a multimedia storyteller and graduate of the Journalism and Media Communication program at Colorado State University. I specialize in video production, still photography, video & photo editing, as well as documentary production. I have a strong passion for capturing compelling narratives.

 

Currently, I work at Barnfly Productions, where I create impactful video content for CSU’s Agriculture department along with being a regular collaborator with CSU athletics. This includes Women's Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Women's Soccer, and Men's Basketball and Football. I have served as a director/producer on several series during my time at Barnfly, including The Inside Cut for the Mountain West Conference, and Insect of the Week for the Colorado State University Agriculture Department. I have received a Silver Telly award and a Communicator award for my work with the entomology department at Colorado State. 

 

I am also a founding member of Gut Check Media, a video production company specializing in music related content. I am eager to create meaningful media, with the goal of inspiring change and engaging audiences.
